New Delhi: Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has said that if MPs do not raise their voice inside Parliament in favor of farmers, they will be strongly opposed in their locality irrespective of their party. Rakesh Tikait said that MPs should raise the demand for farmers in the largest panchayat in the country and force the government to withdraw the law.

The agitating farmers, who have been on the outskirts of Delhi for months, reached Jantar Mantar on Thursday. The Kisan Sansad is sitting here under the leadership of the United Kisan Morcha. It started by paying homage to the farmers who lost their lives during the agitation. Hannan Mollah was appointed as the Speaker of Parliament and Manjit Singh Rai as deputy speaker. Tikait, who arrived at Jantar Mantar, warned the MPs that irrespective of the party if they do not raise the voice of farmers within Parliament, they will be opposed in their area.

Rakesh Tikait further said that this government is showing more strictness. He said that the people should not give so much strength to anyone that they go berserk. Tikait said that there is a saying that when the buffalo in the village gets more strength, it demolishes the place where it eats first. Tikait said that the government is working on the same lines. He is killing the one who voted.
