Bollywood filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has paid tribute to freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on his birth anniversary yesterday by sharing a throwback video from his critically acclaimed and successful movie 'Rang De Basanti' (2006).  

Media reports say that the serious role of Chandrashekhar Azad/DJ by perfectionist Aamir Khan in 'Rang De Basanti' (2006) directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is definitely going to be remembered as one of his best performances. To celebrate Chandrashekhar Azad's birth anniversary, the movie maker has shared a throwback video (playing the role of a freedom fighter) of Aamir Khan from the movie, which is sure to make you shocked. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, 'Rang De Basanti' is one of the most loved movies in India.

Some time ago, there were reports that many such movies are made in the entertainment world which make a splash at the box office. There are many such movies for which the stars refuse because sometimes the fees are not according to them, sometimes the script. At the same time, there are many stars who get ready to work even at a lower fee after liking the script. In fact, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in his autobiography 'The Stranger in the Mirror' has spoken about Sonam Kapoor's fees in his movie 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. The two had previously worked together in Delhi 6. After that, the two worked together in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Sonam Kapoor did not have a big role in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag but her appearance was praised. Rakesh has written in his book that Sonam Kapoor was ready to play the role of Biro in the movie.
