Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most loved actresses in bollywood. She has featured in various bollywood movies. Her Film Thank God which also stars Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra hit the theatre screen on Diwali. The actress in a recent interview spills the beans on why she does not burns crackers.

Rakul Preet narrating the incident said, “It was a memorable Diwali. My father gave me a â‚¹500 note and asked me to burn it. I was shocked and asked him why he was asking me to do such a thing. He told me, 'But that is exactly what you are doing. You are buying crackers and bursting them. What if you use the money to buy some chocolates and give them to the needy," 

She further  added, “I must have been around 9 or 10 year old girl. I remember we went to the sweets shop, bought sweets and distributed them among the homeless. I felt different kind of happiness that day and have not burst crackers ever since.”

On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Doctor G with Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul returns to screens with Indra Kumar's Thank God that hit theaters on October 25. Starring actors Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles, the film has had a decent box office opening, collecting more than â‚¹8 crore.About the movie, Thank God is a T-Series Films & Maruti International production, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah. The film is all set to release around Diwali on October 25 this year.
