Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working on his next project with Siva Koratala, titled Acharya. The movie title went viral when Chiranjeevi accidentally revealed the name during a pre-release event for O Pitta Katha. Since then fans have been referring Acharya as Chiranjeevi’s 152nd film. Ram Charan will be appearing in an extended cameo in Acharya, and his role is supposedly pivotal to the plot of the movie. The latest update according to the reports going around is Ram Charan will come just before the interval in a bid to elevate the curiosity and increase the awe factors in the audience.

The scenes would also be action-packed and might even induce goosebumps. Ram Charan would have one song sequence and a fight sequence with Chiranjeevi according to reports. The shooting schedule for Acharya was progressing at a brisk pace and filmmakers were able to complete almost 40% of the movie shooting. Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in the lead roles for Acharya. Kajal Aggarwal was roped in as Trisha Krishnan’s replacement when the latter had to walk away from Acharya, citing creative differences.

Ram Charan, who produced Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is also producing this movie jointly with Anvesh Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment banners. It is also believed Acharya is a political action thriller in which Chiranjeevi will be seen starting a movement against the endowments department regarding misappropriation of temple funds.
