Ayodhya: The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya stands as a powerful symbol of inclusivity, described by Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai as a representation of "Sabka Saath" Offering insights into the temple's remarkable architecture sprawling across 70 acres, Rai highlighted its state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance devotees' darshan experience.

The temple's construction incorporates premium materials sourced from various regions, including high-quality stones, granites, pink sandstone from Bundelkhand, Karnataka, and Telangana, along with Makrana marble and teakwood sourced from Rajasthan and Maharashtra, respectively. Contractors from Hyderabad, laborers from Tamil Nadu, and artisans from Odisha contributed to crafting small idols. Supervision by Larsen and Toubro, with coordinators from West Bengal, underscored the project's collaborative nature.

Modern Amenities Enhance Devotee Experience

The Ayodhya Ram Mandir, designed in the Nagara style, spans 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, featuring 392 pillars and 44 gates. The temple is equipped with a 14-foot-wide percota, a pilgrim facilitation complex, locker and toilet facilities, healthcare services, a sewer system, water plant, and electricity connections.

'Pran Pratishtha' Ceremony for Ram Lalla's Idol on January 22

The consecration ceremony ('Pran Pratishtha') of Ram Lalla's idol is scheduled for January 22, 2024, at 12:20 pm in Ayodhya's temple premises. The renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj's creation will be installed as Ram Lalla's idol. Dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das Ji Maharaj, and over 7,000 guests from India and abroad are expected to attend the auspicious ceremony.
