Bharat of Ramayana said goodbye to world at the age of 40

Actor Sanjay Jog, who played the role of Bharat in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, may have got less screen space than Ram-Laxman, but Sanjay Jog played his character well in fewer scenes. Sanjay Jog was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Sanjay did an acting course from a studio in Mumbai. Sanjay wanted to become an Airforce pilot. But his parents did not approve of this. There are reports that Sanjay's family lost many of their relatives in the Indo-Pakistan war in 1971. That's why the actor's parents did not want Sanjay to go to this service. Sanjay Jog also worked in Marathi cinema. His debut film was in 1976.

This movie did not do well at the box office. Sanjay Jog was very disappointed with this. Then he returned to his home in Nagpur. There he focused on farming. Once he went to Mumbai for work related to farming. There he was offered a role for the multi-starrer Marathi film Zid. Sanjay got the lead role in the film Zid. Popular names of Marathi cinema were present in this movie. This film became a hit. After this, Sanjay's career took flourished. Sanjay Jog did about 30 Marathi films. He also worked in Gujarati films.

His debut Bollywood film was Apna Ghar. After this, he worked in Jigarwala, Humshakal, Naseebwala, Beta Ho To aisa. His last movie was Beta, released in 1994. Sanjay made his TV debut with Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana. After playing the role of Bharat, he became popular. Before Sanjay was offered the role of Lakshman. There were reports that Sanjay Jog refused to do this role due to dates. Later, he got the role of Bharat. Fans of Sanjay Jog were shocked when news of his sudden death. He died on 27 November 1995 due to liver failure. Sanjay Jog said goodbye to the world, he was just 40 years old.
