Who is Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank: According to the information received, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was elected MLA from the Karnprayag assembly seat for the first time in the year 1991. In 1997, he has been made the Minister of Development of Uttaranchal. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, who became the CM of Uttarakhand in the year 2009, has been an MLA 5 times from the year 1991 to 2012. Nishank, who participated extensively in the Ram temple movement, was born on 15 August 1958 in Garhwal. Currently, he is a BJP MP from Haridwar parliamentary constituency. In the government of PM Narendra Modi, he is performing the responsibility of the Union Minister of Education.
