New Delhi: In the 15th day hearing of the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case, advocate P N Mishra, appearing for the Ram Janmabhoomi Revival Committee, told the apex court that the building at the birthplace was built but it cannot be termed as Masjid. Because the laws of the Quran, according to Sharia, could not be a mosque building built by demolishing another religious shrine, and the building did not contain the necessary elements of the mosque.

At the 14th day hearing on Wednesday, the Ram Janmabhoomi Revival Committee had held its stand on who was going to build the disputed building. There was no Babur general named Mir Baqi. The 3 dome building was not a mosque. The kind of things that are required in the mosque did not exist.

Mishra, a lawyer appearing for the Ram Janmabhoomi Restoration Committee, while citing three books, had said that there was no question of The Babri Masjid being constructed by Babur in Ain-i-Akbari, Humayunnama. Even in the book Turk-e-Jhangiri, there is no mention about the Babri Masjid. Babur was only aware of the fact that the land belongs to the Wakf. P.N.
