Negastar  Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make debut in  Tamil cinema with SJ Suryah-starrer Uyarntha Manithan. The actor has began shooting for his portions a day ago and his look from the film was unveiled by the makers which has sent fans into frenzy.  As per the report,  the cast of Tamilvanan directorial is set to get bigger. News has it that Baahubali actress Ramya Krishnan will be featured opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Uyarntha Manithan. Reports reveal that the makers are considering the Super Deluxe actress opposite Amitabh Bachchan and many felt that may be the right move. However, an official confirmation is not been made yet.

Suryah had said in a statement: "Even before I ventured into showbiz as an assistant director, I craved for this moment to work with him. Now, to see it happening sends gold rush into my veins, but at the same time, I'm nervous to imagine that I am going to share the screen space with him."

The principal shooting of the project began earlier this month. Suryah had revealed last year that Amitabh has set aside 35 days for this project.

Besides Tamil, Amitabh Bachchan will also foray in Telugu cinema with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which stars Chiranjeevi in the titular role. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is based on the life of one of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who fought the British in the pre-Independence era.
