Kolkata: West Bengal's ruling party Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Jiban Krishna Saha's residence was raided by the CBI on Friday, and he threw two of his mobile phones in a nearby pond. Now CBI is trying to find both phones. For this, she is getting the water from the pond drained by installing a pump. In fact, the CBI raided TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha's residence in Murshidabad at 1 p.m. on Friday in connection with a teacher recruitment case worth crores of rupees.

During this, MLA Saha of Mamta Banerjee's party got up on the pretext of going to the washroom and ran outside the house. Before the CBI officers could catch them, they threw their phones in the pond near the house. CBI had started searching for the phone in the pond from yesterday itself. During this, the phones were not found, but six bags were. After this, the CBI decided to take the water out of the pond and also install a pump for it. On Saturday morning, two more pumps were installed to remove the water from the pond, but the CBI has not yet received the calls from the MLA.

According to media reports, getting back these two phones is extremely important for the CBI, as important evidence related to the scam can be found on them. In the raid, the CBI seized several incriminating documents. These include admit cards for various written examinations of different levels. According to sources, a diary has also been found, which may mention the money raised during the scam.
