SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: has set new benchmarks in the world of Indian filmmaking, and not just box-office records. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Subbaraju starrer film continues to be regarded as a cinematic marvel and rightly so. As the film completed two years today, Rana Daggubati, who played the main antagonist Bhallaladeva in the franchise, couldn't have been happier.
To mark the special occasion, Rana Daggubati shared a collage of the key players of Baahubali. He revealed that two years ago, when the film released, it changed his life and Indian cinema forever. Rana's caption read as, "Two years ago this day changed my life and Indian cinema forever!! #baahubali2Two years ago this day changed my life and Indian cinema forever!! #baahubali2."
While Rana played Bhallaladeva, Prabhas essayed the role of Amarendra Baahubali, Anushka played Devasena, Tamannaah essayed Avanthika, Ramya Krishna was Rajamata Sivagami and Sathyaraj played Karikala Kattappa Nadaar.
On the work front, besides his Tamil and Telugu films, Rana will next star in Hindi film Housefull 4. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Saurabh Shukla and Chunky Pandey in key roles. The film is slated to release on Diwali this year.
