1945, the next film starring Rana Daggubati, has finally been given a release date. On January 7, 2022, Sathyasiva's film will be released. "The long awaited @RanaDaggubati action India independence themed film #1945Movie has announced a Release on January 7," read a tweet from the actor.

The period drama was shot in both Telugu and Tamil at same time. Regina Cassandra, Sathyaraj, and Nassar appear in the film, which is produced by S. N. Rajarajan of K Production. Due to conflicts between the producer and the lead actor, the film has been kept incomplete since 2019, but this has now been resolved, and the Telugu version of 1945 is finally set to debut on January 7th. The film's soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the cinematography was handled by Sathya Ponmar. The project's editing was done by Gopi Krishna.

In regards of other projects, Rana Daggubati will next be seen on screen alongside Pawan Kalyan. Chandra Sagar directed their film Bheemla Nayak. It's the official retelling of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, a 2020 Malayalam film. Sachy, a filmmaker, was in charge of the project. Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon also star in Bheemla Nayak. The film's soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman, while the cinematography was done by Ravi K. Chandran. Bheemla Nayak, produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and distributed by Sithara Entertainments, will be released in theatres on February 25, 2022.
