The B-town woke up with shocking news today as the Kapoor family eldest mamber, Krishna Raj Kapoor took her last breath at 4 am. He passed away in her golden years when she was the 87-year-old.

She had complained of breathlessness for several years. Krishna Raj Kapoor was born on December 30, 1930, and tied the nuptial knot with the late legendary actor, filmmaker and founder of iconic RK studio  Raj Kapoor in May 1946.

She is the head of the family enjoyed her every moment of life to the fullest and spent quality time with her children especially Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor along with her grandson Ranbir Kapoor and granddaughter Kareena Kapoor Khan.

 Krishna and Raj Kapoor blessed with five children - Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Kapoor Nanda, Rishi Kapoor, Rima Kapoor Jain and Rajiv Kapoor.  Their grandchildren include Karisma Kapoor,  Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Armaan Jain, Aadar Jain, Nikhil Nanda and Natasha Nanda. After Raj Kapoor's ill-timed death, Krishna Raj Kapoor took over as the head of the house. She had solely held responsible for the unison shown by the renowned and grand family of Hindi cinema.
