We used to live in a bungalow, and I spent most of my childhood listening to their arguments on the stairs."

Ranbir further added, "I was always scared and stayed on the sidelines. I think they were going through a tough phase. My sister wasn't around, so I felt responsible. My mother used to talk to me about her feelings, but my father wasn't expressive. I never understood or listened to him."
