Ranbir Kapoor is all set to for his upcoming movie Shamshera, alongside Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film releases in theatres on 22nd July, 2022.

Ranbir in a recent interview talked about how he manage friendship and work when he worked with a friend. He said, “For me, when I work, I prefer working and not socialising, so I like to be detached. It is very important for any profession to keep friendship and work separate. I have seen it myself, I have seen it with my father, that actors do film for their friends and that only breaks the friendship. It is very important to differentiate friendship and work.” 

While in an another interview the actor also talked about his role in Shamshera is very different. The actor said,“At first, as an actor, when you hear a film’s story, you very instinctively decide if you want to be part of the story if it excites you, if you think it’s going to excite a large number of audience and then work follows. But when a film like Shamshera comes, it comes with a lot of responsibility and you have to make it look believable. Like you said, since people have seen me in a certain image for so long, this is probably a genre that people won’t necessarily easily accept me in, but, I think it’s the job to put in the hard work, so as to make the audience experiencing the film, forget what the actor’s past work is, and they should believe the characters and the story that they’re watching at that current moment.”

Ranbir will next seen in Dharma Productions’ mythological fantasy drama, Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring his wife Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
