Bollywood veteran actor Randhir Kapoor is celebrating his birthday today, he has turned full 74 years. Randhir Kapoor is that person of Bollywood who has made his own identity through acting, film production, and direction. Randhir has inherited the art of acting. His father Raj Kapoor was a popular actor and film producer in the film industry. Randhir Kapoor made headlines for rumors of an affair with actress Babita.

Together they did the first film 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal'. Both fell in love with each other after the first movie. While Randhir was Punjabi, Babita belonged to the Sindhi family. All of them turned against them when they talked in the family about marriage. At that time, the girls of the Kapoor family neither worked in movies nor married the family members to any actress. Randhir Kapoor discussed the relationship with father Raj Kapoor when Babita spoke. Raj Kapoor was ready to make Babita a heroine in her movies but not a daughter-in-law of the house.

Even after being against the family, Randhir and Babita's love continued. For a marriage to Babita, Randhir Kapoor made a condition that for this he would have to give up his film career. Babita distanced herself from movies for love. Both got married in the year 1971. Family and close friends were involved in Randhir and Babita's marriage. After marriage, Randhir and Babita lived in a separate flat. Karishma was born in 1974 and Kareena in 1980. Babita had given up her film career, but she wanted to make her daughters an actress. Randhir Kapoor was not ready to bring daughters at all. Babita raised the daughters on her own and started preparing to bring Karishma to the movies. When the same Karishma entered Bollywood, it had an impact on the relationship between Randhir and Babita. In the year 1988, Babita started living separately with her two daughters.
