Randhir Kapoor is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He has worked in various Big hit films. He belongs to a family of superstars of the film industry. Randhir was born on February 15, 1947 in Mumbai. He is the elder son of Bollywood famous actor Raj Kapoor, and has appeared in very few films He started his career as a child artist at the age of just 8. He worked as a child artist in a few films including the films Shree 420 and Do Ustad.  The actor made his debut as a Kal Aaj Aur Kal. However his filmy career was not that successful he remained in news for different reasons.

Ranbir Kapoor was in love with actress Babia and as per the tradition of Kapoor family the girls of the Kapoor family neither used to work in films at that time, nor did any family member marry an actress. At the behest of Babita, Randhir talked about the relationship with father Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor was not ready to make Babita the daughter-in-law of his house. Despite the family being against it, Randhir and Babita's love continued to flourish. To marry Babita, Randhir put a condition that for this she would have to give up her film career. Both got married in 1971 but after the year 1983, Randhir Kapoor and Babita's relationship started getting affected, after which both of them decided to separate their ways in the year 1988. Although both never divorced each other. Babita always encouraged her daughters to pursue their career and became self reliant.

On the career front, Randhir Kapoor was last seen in the 2014 film Super Nani. Actress Rekha was also seen with him in this film. Earlier in the year 2010, he appeared in the film Housefull 2 with his younger brother Rishi Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor has worked in films like Rickshawala, Haath Ki Safai, Dil Deewana, Lafangey, Dharam Karam, Aaj Ka Mahatma, Chacha Bhatija, Kasme Vaade, Heeralal Pannalal, Biwi O Biwi, Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai, Housefull, Super Nani.
