Talking about the recent sudden entry into Bollywood, Meezan said that Sharmin was my classmate and my best friend also. She was assisting Sanjay Sir at the time of Bajirao Mastani and I returned home from the US on vacation. So one day he called me and asked to try some costume because Ranveer Singh was not present during that time and he wanted someone from Ranveer's stature. I came to meet Sanjay Sir in that costume, I had heard a lot about him, so I was trying to be courteous in front of him.

He further says that I was surprised when he saw me and said he wanted to launch me and he didn't even know that I was Javed Jaffrey's son. Recalling a story about Ranveer Singh, he further said that Ranveer Singh had given him special advice. He said that I have taken some difficult decisions in my life and I am standing here because of the same decisions and I don't regrat or relegate to anything in my life. Always be confident. Whenever you work in a film, understand the question of life and death, then you will be able to give everything to any role.
