Superstar Ranveer Singh has left for Cleveland to be a part of the NBA all-star celebrity game. Some of the top global musicians and basketball players are also present in this game. Ranveer is going to play with comedian Tiffany Headish as well as rappers and recording artists like Anuel, Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow and Quavo. The game will also feature many former and present famous players, including Dierica Hamby, Booby Gibson and Anderson Veresao. The match is scheduled to be played on February 18 at the Wollstein Center in Cleveland.
The National Basketball Association of America had made Ranveer Singh its Indian brand ambassador in September last year. 2021-22 is actually the season to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NBA. And the purpose of the alliance with Ranveer is to promote this game in the country and also bring the live broadcast of which to the headlines. Ranveer, in a question-and-answer session with his fans on social media, has said that he has already started training for this big match as he is going to need it for his A-game.
Ranveer has to say, "I am ready to fly to Cleveland to play the NBA Celebrity All-Star game in the second half of this month. It would be better if some practice is done, otherwise, the nose will be cut off.'' On being selected as the brand ambassador, Ranveer had said, "I have loved basketball and the NBA since childhood. I have always been surprised by the impact of popular cultures such as music, fashion and entertainment. With the announcement of the NBA's 75th season celebration, there could not have been a better time to join the league and support their effort to popularize basketball in the country.'' It is worth mentioning that Ranveer Singh has travelled abroad to be a part of the NBA before and has also watched the NBA All-Star match sitting in the audience gallery some five years ago.
