Rashmika Mandanna, renowned for movies such as Kirik Party (2016), Geetha Govindam (2018), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), Bheeshma (2020), Pogaru (2021), and Sulthan (2021), will appear with Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in Allu Arjun's multilingual action film Pushpa.

In the next months, Mandanna will appear in two Hindi films: Mission Majnu, alongside Sidharth Malhotra, and Goodbye, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. After making her acting debut in the Kannada romantic comedy Kirik Party in 2016, which went on to become the year's highest-grossing film, Mandanna went on to star in films such as Anjani Putra opposite Puneeth Rajkumar and Chamak opposite Ganesh.
She made her Telugu film debut alongside Naga Shourya in Chalo, which played for 100 days in select theatres. She then starred opposite Vijay Devarakonda in Geetha Govindam, which received excellent reviews and grossed over Rs130 crore. In 2020, Mandanna starred alongside Mahesh Babu in the Telugu film Sarileru Neekevvaru, which received positive reviews from audiences and critics and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time, earning Mandanna Rs2 billion in only ten days.
To be sure, Mandanna joins a rising number of young actresses who are eager to work in pan-Indian productions with large budgets. Many of them will be shot in various languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, and will feature a mix of Bollywood and South Indian actors to appeal to audiences from all across the country. Prabhas, who starred in the Baahubali franchise, will play with Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in the legendary historical drama Adipurush. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will star alongside Prabhas in a film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies in Telugu.
