In a recent Vlog, she reminisced about a famous producer who once asked her to make a concession in order to receive better opportunities back in 2007. She also disclosed that the 60-year-old producer asked her to become friends with him and was prepared to spend Rs. 4-5 Lakhs on her makeover. She also added that he lost his cool with her and said he would have slept with his own daughter if she had been at her house after she questioned why she would befriend a man who was his father's age.

She went on to say how annoyed she feels every time she thinks about this incident and how she lived a respectable life in the business without making sacrifices for it. She even counseled aspiring musicians to avoid such pitfalls and strive hard for their objectives instead. Ratan Raajputh concluded by saying that such people shouldn't live any longer and that she felt like going to the producer and beating him up with her shoe while recalling her encounter with him. She stated: "Aisaan ko marr jana chaiye... kitna leechad aadmi tha. Aadmi mil jaaye, main jau waha pe, main apna joota nikal kar maru, aur aj bhi mera mann karta hai."
