Saif Ali Khan is all set for his upcoming Film Adipurush where the actor is playing the role of Ravana.  Recently the first teaser South Star Prabhas starring Adipurush was released but it was welcomed with more negative views than positive views as some people are very disappointed with Saif Ali Khan being cast as Ravana. Meanwhile, various people also claimed that Saif Ali  Khan was looking like a Mughal emperor not like Ravana.

In a recent interview, the actor said, “What I’d like to play is act in the Mahabharata if someone makes it like Lord of the Rings. We’ve been talking about it with Ajay Devgn since Kachche Dhaage. I think in our generation it’s the dream subject. Everybody wants to do that. We will get the Bombay film industry together with the South or whatever if that’s even possible and just make this grand movie.” 

Adipurush is a multilingual saga based on an Indian Hindu mythological epic, Ramayana. Adipurush cast includes Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in the lead role. Prabhas plays the Hindu god Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh. ‘Adipurush’ is set to hit theatres on January 12, 2023. 

On the work Front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen alongside Hrithik Roshan in the recently released film Vikram Vedha, added that he would like to be cast in Mahabharata if someone makes it like Lord of the Rings. Further speaking about the ‘grand' Mahabharata movie, the actor said he would like to work in such a project be it in Bollywood or in the south.
