New Delhi: Young wrestler Ravi Dahiya, who won a Bronze medal in the World Championship, has received a big reward. He was included in the Target Olympic podium scheme while in-form Sakshi Malik was dropped. This decision was made by the Mission Olympic Unit of Sports Authority of India. Ravi won the bronze medal in the men's 57 kg freestyle category in Noor Sultan of Kazakhstan. His bronze also ensured India's Olympic quota for next year's Tokyo Games.

Sakshi won bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She has been struggling with her form for some time, so she was dropped from the tops. She was knocked out of the opening round 62kg in Noor Sultan.
