New Delhi: At CES 2023, consumer electronics brand Razer unveiled the Kio Pro Ultra, a new 4K webcam. The device features a 1/1.2-inch Sony Starvis 2 sensor, which the brand claims is the "largest sensor ever in a webcam".

It offers uncompressed 4K video at 24 frames per second. The webcam is now available for $299.99 (roughly Rs. 24,700) via the brand's official store and retail channels.

The Kio Pro Ultra is a plug-and-play device that looks like a DSLR and has an 82- to 72-degree field-of-view. It shares design elements with the Keio Pro, which will be released in 2021.

On the other hand, the webcam comes with a privacy shutter which you can twist to turn off. It is also equipped with an omnidirectional microphone. Synapse, the webcam's companion app, can be used to customize the device's features.

If you want to change settings on your Kio Pro Ultra, you can use the companion app, Synapse. This will allow you to adjust the digital zoom and activate the AI face-tracking feature. It also allows for shutter speed, exposure and responsiveness adjustments.

The Kio Pro Ultra sports a 1/1.2-inch Sony Starvis 2 sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. Performing well even in low light, the webcam captures natural-looking bokeh footage.

It captures 1440p footage at 30fps and uncompressed 4K video at 24fps. It can deliver 1080p video at 60fps/30fps when HDR mode is enabled.

Razer has made the Kia Pro Ultra available for purchase in the United States through its official website and partner retail channels. The webcam is expensive, costing $299.99. (Rs 24,700 approx).
