New Delhi: There is an atmosphere of an economic slowdown in the country. The government has consistently denied any such slowdown. But the figures are indicating a slowdown in the country. The Reserve Bank said in one of its surveys that Gone's perception, employment opportunities, income and spending declined. That is, consumer confidence has reached the lowest level of six years. According to the survey, consumer confidence weakened in September as both the Current Situation Index (CCI) and Future Expectations Index (FEI) declined.

According to the data, the country's CCI fell to 89.4 in September. Earlier in July, the figure stood at 95.7. The CCI was last reduced to 88 in September 2018. The Reserve Bank's survey also revealed that overall sentiments regarding the economy and employment have been declining and people are not very optimistic about their income in the coming year. According to this survey, there is a continuous decrease in the outlook and expectation on jobs, which came down to -24.5 in September. Earlier in July the figure stood at -13.1. However, for the first time since March, 2018, the sentiment has become negative. The pace of growth of the country's economy has also declined due to the decrease in demand.
