New Delhi: Private sector budget airline company GoAir is planning to expand its network. The company will include one aircraft every month under its fleet. Announcing the inclusion of two new A320neos, GoAir managing director Jeh Wadia said the new seasonals would help launch flights to Singapore and Aizawl in addition to meeting demand. Wadia reported that the delivery of two aircraft, one from European aviation major Airbus Hamburg and the other from Toulouse plant on the same day, is a record for any airline.

He added that the inclusion of two aircraft in GoAir's fleet is part of our expansion plan. He said that we plan to add at least one aircraft on an average every month. The airline plans to commence operations for its eighth international and 25th domestic destination - Singapore and Aizawl, subject to regulatory approval. In June 2011, the airline ordered 72 new A320neo aircraft valued at approximately Rs 32,400 crore.

GoAir has increased its daily flight to 41 per cent, from 230 in the same period last year, while in the same year it has reached 325. It is known that GoAir is going to start four new flights from Chandigarh International Airport. The airline has increased two flights between Chandigarh-Delhi and Ahmedabad-Chandigarh.
