New Delhi: Milk is one of the important things of daily catering. Everyday we use many products made from milk. Hence milk has become a big part of our business system. India is the world's largest milk producing industry. New Zealand and Australia figure in this category. New Zealand produces 14 times more dairy products than its domestic requirement and exports 93 percent of its total milk, according to data provided by the trade union Confederation of All India Traders (CAT). CAT has quoted the NITI Aayog's data as saying that by 2033 the demand for milk in the country will be 292 million tonnes while the total production of milk in the country will be 33 million tonnes.

After India, America comes in second place in terms of milk production. However, China and Pakistan are not far behind in this matter. Brazil, Germany, Russia, France and Turkey are also among the countries with the highest production. Businessmen's organization CAT has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep dairy products out of the proposed (RCEP). The organization has made this demand for the protection of domestic dairy farmers. According to the organization, the government is considering approving milk imports from countries like New Zealand and Australia under this agreement. These countries are known for exporting milk on a large scale. This is expected to affect milk prices in India. Which will be the most affected farmers.
