The Election Commission today has declared that re-polling will be held in 48 polling stations in Punjab. On 9 February, it will take place between 8 AM to 5 PM.

The commission as per the source news said that the polling in these stations got disturbed due to the malfunctioning of the Voter-Verified Audit Paper Trail (VVPAT) and Electronic Voting Machines.

The polling will take place in 16 polling stations of Amritsar Parliamentary constituency, 12 polling stations in Majitha, one in Moga, nine in Muktsar, one in Sardulgarh and six polling stations in Sangrur.

On February 4, the Punjab Assembly elections held whose result will be declared on 11 March.
