Even at the age of 98, he plays at Delhi's golf club. Arjan Singh was part of the glorious family in which his father, his grandfather and his great grandfather had worked in the army before him. His father was Risaldar and served as ADC of a division commander. His grandfather Risaldar Major Hukam Singh belonged to the cavalry between 1883 and 1917 and the grandfather, Naib Risaldar Sultana Singh, was involved in the first two generations of the guide cavalry in 1854 and was martyred during the Afghan campaign of 1879.
