Realme, the popular smartphone brand, has unveiled its latest flagship model, the Realme GT5 Pro, in its native market. Priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 40,000), this device boasts the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor built on a 4 nm architecture. Among its standout features are a robust cooling system, a primary Sony LYT808 camera, a dazzling 144 Hz OLED display, and a substantial 5,400 mAh battery that supports rapid 100 W charging.

The Realme GT5 Pro is available in various configurations. The base model, offering 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, starts at CNY 3,298. Meanwhile, the 16 GB RAM variants with 256 GB, 512 GB, and a whopping 1 TB storage are priced at CNY 3,699, CNY 3,999, and a higher rate respectively. As part of the launch, Realme is also providing discounts, lowering the starting price to CNY 3,298. Customers can choose from Black, Orange, or White colors. Pre-orders have commenced in China, and the phone is scheduled to hit shelves on December 14, 2023.

Delving into its specifications and features, the Realme GT5 Pro boasts a sizable 6.78-inch 8T LTPO 1.5K OLED screen, supporting a 144 Hz refresh rate, with outstanding characteristics like 4,500 nits peak brightness, 2,160 Hz PWM dimming, ProXDR, and HDR10+ certification. Under the hood, it is powered by the 4 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor coupled with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 1 TB UFS 4.0.

The phone's rear houses a rounded camera module hosting three sensors. This setup includes a 50 MP Sony LYT808 camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) at 23 mm, a 50 MP periscope telephoto Sony IMX890 camera with 3x optical zoom at 65 mm, and an 8 MP ultrawide Sony IMX355 camera at 16 mm. On the front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera.

Powering the Realme GT5 Pro is a substantial 5,400 mAh battery supporting 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. Realme boasts a remarkable claim of charging the device from zero to 50 percent in just 12 minutes. Operating on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, the phone includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and an IP64 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance.
