Chennai: Corona virus cases continue to grow in Tamil Nadu. After the arrival of 4979 record cases, the number of infected people has crossed 1.70 lakh on last Sunday (July 19). Meanwhile, the best news is that the rate of healthy people has increased to 69 percent. In fact, the rate of recovery of infected patients in the state has reached 69.08 percent. It was stuck at 68.70 percent on Saturday.

With this, the death rate of infected people in the state is only 1.45 percent. Apart from this, the number of infected in the state has reached 170693. Actually 78 more people have died during the last 24 hours and after that the number of dead has reached 2481. In fact, 4059 more patients have become healthy during this period, while the total number of cured patients has increased to 117915. According to the information received, 50297 active cases have been reported in the state, which are being treated in various hospitals.

You may be aware that Tamil Nadu ranks second in the country after Maharashtra in the Corona virus-infected cases, while the capital Chennai appears to be the most severely affected by the Corona virus. The main reason for re-emposing lockdown is also the increasing cases of corona. In fact, during the last 24 hours, 1261 new cases have been reported in the capital and now the number of corona patients has reached 85859. It has been reported more than one and a half times the figures of Karnataka state released on Sunday. Yes, after the death of 27 more people in Chennai on Sunday, the number of dead has reached 1431, which is a surprising figure.
