Redmi newly launched new smartphones in China, with the company announcing 3 new Redmi Note 9 series phones for the country viz Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.- while the Redmi Note 9 4G was launched as a more affordable non 5G model for the company's home country.

Barely days after the launch of the phones, reports have now come out claiming that this last model will reportedly launch in the Indian market as the Redmi 9 Power. Reports also claim that the Poco M3 which was first introduced in Europe is also expected to come to India very soon.

The information for the same was first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma who claims to have spotted a handset called Redmi 9 Power on Google Play Console with the same model number as that of the Redmi Note 9 4G. The phone is also codenamed ‘lime' on the Google Play Console database. As mentioned above, the Poco M3 has also been spotted on Google Play Console with the model number M2010J19CI by the tipster, Mukul Sharma.

Earlier, there have been reports about the Redmi Note 9 4G coming to India with the name Note 9T. However, previous leaks had claimed that the phone will come to India with a few changes, with the Note 9T using a quad-camera set-up on the back instead of the triple-lens set-up on the Redmi Note 9 4G.
