New Delhi: Amidst competition, the counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 has begun at 36 centres. In the initial trends, the Congress party is seen ahead of the ruling BJP. Congress workers have already started celebrating it. Party workers are dancing with drums outside the Congress party office in Delhi, while some workers are also seen performing a havan. 

In the video surfaced on social media, it can be seen that a small girl is performing Havan along with 2 men and a woman. Photos of Congress leaders are also kept near the Havan place. Along with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, photographs of the Vadra family are also kept. Here, Congress workers have also placed a picture of Robert Vadra-Priyanka Gandhi's son Rehan Vadra with the words 'Future Star' written on it. It is believed that Priyanka's son Rehan can be seen leading the Congressmen in the coming days .  Along with this, Congress Party's National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka Congress Unit President DK Shivakumar has also kept the picture. 

Explain that a party or alliance needs to win 113 seats to get a majority in the 224-member Karnataka Assembly. Political pundits have predicted an edge for the Congress in a tough fight with the BJP. Many have predicted a hung assembly. In such a situation, HD Kumaraswamy's JDS can become the kingmaker. A record 73.19 per cent votes were cast in the elections held on May 10 in Karnataka. This was the highest turnout in Karnataka after the formation of states on linguistic basis in 1957.
