Shri Krishna taught to love, discipline, firmness to this world. Shri Krishna was born on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month in Dwaparyuga. We celebrate the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna as Janmashtami. Shri Krishna is worshipped in the whole world. Along with Shri Krishna, people also respect Gau Mata and worshipped them.

The relationship between Shri Krishna and Gau Mata is celebrated as Gopashtami. It is said that for the first time on the day of Gopashtami, Shri Krishna became a cowherd and started grazing the cow. This festival is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month. On this day, there is a law for worshipping the cow.

Lord Shri Krishna has a special attachment and affinity with the cow. Today, the cow is called 'Maa' because of Shri Krishna. There is also a belief that poisonous creatures like snake-scorpion are not seen in the place where cow lives. Anyone who worships cow gets rid of the problems. The grace of Lord Krishna remains on them. There is also a prevalent religious belief that 33 deities reside in Cow. Therefore, we also get the fruits of worshipping 33 crore deities by worshipping a cow.
