According to media reports, the movie is scheduled to release in all the cinemas on June 10 this year. Sonu Sood will also be seen playing an important role in the film. Sonu will be seen in the role of Chand Vardai in the movie. Yash Raj Films is making a historical film "Prithviraj" for the first time.

This film is being made on the life and heroism of the fearless and mighty emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. Superstar Akshay Kumar plays the role of the great warrior who has bravely faced the ruthless invader Muhammad Ghori. Akshay has also saluted the bravery and courage of this great warrior while releasing the teaser of the movie on social media.
