NEW DELHI: Reliance Industries has two brands in the top ten list of Indian brands, a report said. Reliance Industries is ranked number 2 and Jio is placed number 5 on the top ten list of Indian brands for 2023, as per an Interbrand survey.

The top company is TCS, Infosys is third, then come HDFC, Airtel, LIC, Mahindra, SBI, and ICICI. 

The Total List Value has increased by 167% over the last 10 years to USD 100 billion. Over the past ten years, the GDP has increased by 138%. According to an Interbrand analysis, the Total Value of the table has for the first time ever surpassed USD 100 billion.

46% of the total value of the top ten brands may be attributed to the top three brands' brand value. The top five brands account for 40% or more of the Table's overall value. Three technology brands are among the Top 5 for the first time in ten years.

The Top 10 brands' combined brand worth of INR 4,950 billion exceeds the combined brand value of the next 40 brands (INR 3,360 billion). The industries that have grown the fastest over the past ten years are FMCG (CAGR 25%), Home Building & Infrastructure (CAGR 17%), and Technology (CAGR 14%).

Over the past ten years, the Home Building & Infrastructure sector has experienced the greatest growth (from INR 69 billion to INR 344 billion), followed by the Technology sector (from INR 693 billion to INR 2.5 trillion). The Home Building & Infrastructure industry has experienced the most increase in the number of brands with seven brands since 2014, although the Financial Services sector still has the most with nine brands.
