Mumbai: Prakash Shah, who has served as vice president of Reliance Industries, has now become a sanyasi after taking initiation from Jain Muni. He retired from his post only last year. His wife Naina has also taken initiation. Prakash Shah, who held such a big position in Reliance, has now given up the world's charm. After initiation, he will now wear white clothes and live by the food he receives in alms.

40 years ago, Prakash Shah graduated in Chemical Engineering from Chamoli and then completed his post graduation from IIT Bombay. He has also had a long career with Reliance. He was holding key responsibilities in Reliance's Jamnagar project. He had also taken full charge of petcoke marketing for the company. His wife Natan is a commerce graduate.

It was only after retirement that Prakash expressed his desire to take initiation. However, he was a little late due to covid. He already wanted to take initiation. After becoming a sannyasin, he gave up all material pleasures. Tell me that he is not the first to do so in his family. He has two sons and one of them has taken initiation seven years ago. He is also a graduate from IIT Bombay. The second son is married and has a child.
