Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia and the owner of Reliance Industries Limited, the country's largest company, has given a big gift to his employees. Reliance Industries (RIL) has set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure at its Mumbai campus. Reliance employees will be able to charge their electric vehicle in this premises for free. The HR of the company on Wednesday sent an email to its employees and informed about the Jio-BP Pulse EV Charging Zone at the Navi Mumbai campus, Reliance Corporate Park (RCP). Reliance is going to build such infrastructure in other campuses as well. According to HR's email, Jio-bp pulse facility is going to be offered to Reliance employees to charge their electric vehicles for free.

This is how free EV charging facility will be available: At present 6 chargers of different configurations are also being provided for electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers in Jio-BP pulse zone in Reliance Corporate Park. The company has said that employees will have to register through the 'Jio-bp pulse charge mobile app' mobile app to charge their electric vehicles for free. The QR code on the charging unit will also have to be scanned to start the EV charging session.

According to the news, Reliance BP Mobility Limited is going to work under the brand name Jio-BP. It is reported to be working with multiple demand aggregators, OEMs and technology partners with a vision to be the leading EV charging infrastructure player in India. During 2021 Jio-bp has built and introduced one of the country's largest EV charging hub in Dwarka, Delhi with BlueSmart as its primary customer.
