The new plan will provide Jio Gigafiber with a security deposit of Rs 2,500. Security deposit is going to be made in this plan like a refundable previous plan.

The company is offering optical network terminal devices in the new version of this service. The device is said to be a single band router. However, the service of Jio Gigafiber offered on the new device is the same as the existing Gigabit home gateway. A Twitter user said that the new router of Jio Gigafiber comes with a single band part and offers a maximum speed of 50 Mbps. Let's say that earlier Reliance Jio's Gigafiber home gateways came with dual-band connectivity. And these used to be speeds of 100 Mbps.
