Reliance Jio continues its yearly tradition with the launch of the Happy New Year 2024 prepaid plan, available at a price of Rs.2,999. This new plan comes with an extended validity of 24 days, making it an enticing deal for users. Notably, adjustments made to the Rs.2,999 plan have decreased the daily cost for customers from Rs.8.21 to Rs.7.70.

What does this plan offer? It boasts a validity period of 365 days and a generous data allocation of 912.5GB. Users can enjoy 2.5GB of high-speed 4G data per day, following which the speed reduces to 64kbps. Additionally, as part of the Jio Welcome offer, eligible customers will benefit from unlimited 5G data, aligning with Jio's standard offerings.

The plan doesn't stop there. It includes unlimited voice calls and an allowance of 100 SMS per day. Subscribers will also gain free access to popular Jio apps like JioCinema, JioTV, and JioCloud. However, it's important to note that the plan doesn't include premium JioCinema membership, which requires a separate purchase.

Interested customers can take advantage of these new benefits starting from December 20, 2023. However, there hasn't been a specified end date mentioned to avail of this offer.

Earlier this year, Jio introduced a Rs.3,227 annual plan, providing a year-long subscription along with access to Amazon Prime Video's mobile edition. This plan stands out due to its substantial data allowance and the added bonus of Prime Video benefits.
