New Delhi: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) on Friday announced that the company will launch a corona vaccination program for its employees and their family members above 18 years of age from May 1st. The company has named the vaccination campaign 'R-Suraksha'. In a letter to RIL employees, CHAIRMAN and Managing Director RIL Mukesh Ambani and Chairperson Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani said that corona vaccine is an important weapon and the company has continued to bear the cost of vaccination for all eligible members.
At the same time, as per the new guidelines of the Government of India, we are happy to announce that Reliance will deploy its vaccination program, R-Suraksha, for our employees and eligible family members at all places above the age of 18 years. "We have "worked from home" for more than 13 months without disrupting our business," he said. "
Reliance Foundation has continued to work on the ground to meet human challenges, distributing over 5.5 crore food and 67 lakh masks among the needy sections of the society. The employees were also urged to provide help to peers, colleagues, and teams.
