Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government is set to release 339 prisoners including five women from various jails on Independence Day. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has recently been informed about the same. He gave this information to the Assembly. In the meantime, he said, "Prisoners are released on 15th August in a year keeping in view the parameters laid down along with good conduct. At the same time, Narottam Mishra also said, "These prisoners have completed 14 to 20 years of their sentence and the rest of their sentences are being waived off. The prisoners have learned life skills during their tenure. I hope that once released they will be able to re-establish themselves in society.''

At the same time, the Home Minister said that out of the released prisoners, 36 are from Bhopal, 28 from Indore and other districts.
