Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government is set to release 339 prisoners including five women from various jails on Independence Day. At the same time, Narottam Mishra also said, "These prisoners have completed 14 to 20 years of their sentence and the rest of their sentences are being waived off. The prisoners have learned life skills during their tenure. I hope that once released they will be able to re-establish themselves in society.''
At the same time, the Home Minister said that out of the released prisoners, 36 are from Bhopal, 28 from Indore and other districts.
