AR Rahman will return to Malayalam with Vijay Yesudas
How important it is now for an artist to market themselves in the digital space. I believe that anyone who can influence people should use the space. There are people who listen to us if we can provide them with good art and convey a socially relevant message through that art. As an artist, this is a place where we can explore ourselves. In the cinema, there are lots of instructions that you have to follow while working. But in this place, I can use my creative freedom and personality to do the best possible art that I can. I think all artists should take this initiative and we will get good art only when there is competition. This is a challenging process because every day people expect better content. It forces us to stay on our toes at all times. As far as I am concerned, I have accepted that challenge and that gives me the energy to live.

What is happening in the context of films?
I sang a track in Asif Ali's Underworld for composers Neha Nair and Yakzen Gary Perera. I am also a part of Midhun Manuel Thomas's Anjam Pathira. In Tamil, I have six films in which Prabhudheva and Vijay Antony are present.
Do you get time to practice music between acting schedules?
It is said that you have to spend time on music. I am now training under a teacher and whenever I get time, I practice. Also, whenever there is a recording session, I try to get ready. Because I am also acting, my programs often do not allow me to practice music religiously, but I try to do it for a few minutes every day.
