During the Auto Expo held in February 2020, French carmaker Renault equipped its popular SUV Renault Duster with a 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine. The company is soon going to introduce this SUV in India. With the new turbo petrol engine, this SUV will be more powerful than before. According to the information, the new Renault Duster 1.3-liter turbo petrol can be launched in the market this month. Reno has been told that the company will continue to sell the existing 1.5-liter BS6 petrol engine along with the new turbo-petrol engine option.
Talking about the engine of Renault Duster, it has a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, petrol engine available. This engine has power of 153 bhp and peak torque generated capacity of 250 Nm. The engine of this car will be given a turbocharger, as well as this engine will be equipped with gasoline direct injection technology, which will give the SUV more mileage than before. The engine is equipped with dual VVT. The engine will come with an X-Tronic CVT transmission which will be equipped with manual mode. The engine will also get the option of 6 speed manual transmission. The special thing is that the same powertrain is also given in Nissan Kicks.
Apart from this, when you talk about the Renault Duster with the new 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine, you will not see much change in its look. Most parts of the car will remain the same. But being equipped with a new and powerful engine, the company will make some minor changes to make it look aggressive, with red elements on its grille and foglamp housing. This SUV is going to have stronger roof rails, new red logo and red color duster branding on the tailgate.
