Renault India is all set to launch its 7-seater car Triber in the Indian market today. Renault's has already started booking for the new car at dealerships across the country since August 17, and the car is being booked through the company's website with token money of Rs 11,000.
The new Triber Renault will be one of the most important cars in the Indian market after Duster, Quad, Lodji and Capt. Renault introduced its 7-seater car in India on June 19. The Triber has been produced at the company's Chennai-based plant and has already entered the dealership of the car company. The Triber has been developed by the company in view of the growing demand for a 7-seater car in the Indian market. However, it is being claimed that it is extremely affordable in price from other 7-seater cars in the market. According to media reports, the car is priced between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 7.5 lakh.
The car will be powered by a 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter petrol engine. It will also generate 72PS of power and 96 Newton meters of torque. The car is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. When it comes to the length and width of the car, the length of the Triber will be 3,990 mm and the width will be 1,739. It has a height of 1643 mm.
