Mumbai: Chinese app Tiktok, which has been very popular among the youth in the country, can be entered once again. According to the report, Reliance Industries can bu'TikTok Indian business'. The report said that the issue is under discussion between TikTok's parent company ByteDance and Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). However, the two companies have not reached any conclusion yet. Reliance and TikTok have not yet responded in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that in the month of July, the Indian government had banned 59 Chinese apps including Tiktok. The government has banned Tiktok and other Chinese apps, regarding privacy. At the time of the ban, 30 percent of Tiktok consumers were Indians and about 10 percent of its earnings were from India. April 2020 TikTok was downloaded 2 billion from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Approx 30.3 percent or 61.1 crore downloads were from India.

According to the mobile intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the download user of TikTok has increased more than China in India. TikTok download user in China is only 19.66 crore, which is only 9.7 percent of its total download.
