Lucknow: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the flag at CM's residence on the occasion of Republic Day. He congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of the 72 Republic Day. At the same time, he also said, "Our Constitution has a very important role to play in establishing India as a very large democracy within the world and creating a sense of unity in diversity within India." He said, "I am the first to sacrifice everything for India's independence on the occasion of Republic Day to the great freedom fighters of India. I salute all those freedom fighters. While guarding the borders of the country in Azad India, I also pay humble tributes to the brave soldiers who were martyred while strengthening the internal security situation in the country.''

In his address, he also said about the country's first lockdown. "We are celebrating the 72 Republic Day at a time when the entire country and the whole world are reeling under the global epidemic corona for nearly 10 months," he said. What were the circumstances within the world and the country for the last 10 months? The country saw for the first time how the lockdown takes place. PM Modi's call introduces national discipline across the country. The result was that we have all seen with our own eyes while protecting the life security of India's 135 crore citizens from the corona epidemic."

He further said, "India is the only country within the world to have developed two indigenous vaccines. The vaccine has been taken up in two phases so far in up. On 28th and 29th January, the health workers will be vaccinated. We have a goal that around 15th February all corona warriors get vaccinated, whether it is the police personnel, the security personnel, the brave Jawans of the Indian Army, the home guards, or the revenue personnel who are guarding the Indian border. We are going to start the process of giving vaccines to all these.''
