The most important festival for Telugu people is sankranthi, who is mostly in favour of own vehicles. The demand for buses has decreased. Hyderabad-Vijayawada route (NH-65) own vehicles are in the air. In general days, four thousand to five thousand individual vehicles cross the toll gates on this route. From two days to 12 thousand vehicles pass through toll gates. Private and RTC buses are low in demand for private vehicles and cabs. RTC regular reservation slips 60 per cent. In special services, half the seats are not filled.

RTC reservation scanning for six days from 8th to 13th of this month does not cross 60 per cent occupancy in regular services. In special services, 48.03 per cent of the reservation sacked. Passengers are not interested in rtc reservations. The RTC has set up 571 services to the main cities and towns of Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and AP from 8 to 13 months, with the expectation of the passenger traffic to go to the festival and return. Besides these, regular services are available for all districts up to 1,988. Especially in Rayalaseema districts, this season, only 115 passengers from Hyderabad are travelling by special buses.

Usually, software employees in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore in the Sankranthi festival season make advance reservations for their homes and return. Due to their demand, the occupancy of reservation spans between 30 and 35 per cent in regular and special services. The situation of advance reservation is now very bad. RTC Traffic Wing estimates that 90 percent of the employees are in their homes as most software companies work from home. This is the main reason for the reservation being very low. RTC officials say that the students have not crossed their own areas because of the lack of educational institutions and online classes, which is why they do not make reservations. Uttaranthra, Ubhayagodavari, Guntur and Prakasam districts have a promising reservation.
