New Delhi: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das tested coronavirus positive. Shaktikanta Das has pointed out that they do not have symptoms of infection and have quarantined himself. He has asked people who have come in contact with him in recent times to be vigilant. Das has said that the work of the Reserve Bank will continue smoothly and he will work in quarantine.
Shaktikanta Das tweeted on Sunday and wrote: "I have tested coronavirus positive. I don't have symptoms of infection. I'm feeling quite fine to a great extent. I have alerted people who have recently come into contact with me. I will continue to work in isolation. The work of the Reserve Bank will continue to run smoothly. I will be in touch with all deputy governors and other officials through phone or video calls."
Along with Shaktikanta Das, many veteran leaders in the country are also infected with corona virus. Including former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi. Earlier, several union government ministers including Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have been arrested by Corona.
