New Delhi: If you use a debit card or credit card with your bank account, then this news can be very important for you. Some services are being discontinued from your debit-credit card from today. For this, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has already issued a notification. According to the media report, debit or credit cards from which people have not made contactless transactions or online transactions, then for such card users, this service will stop automatically from March 16.

Recently, the RBI had issued a notification saying that the credit or debit card with which online or contractual transactions were not done till March 16, 2020, the service will stop. Most of the debit and credit cards are coming with a Wi-Fi facility i.e. contactless facility. The special thing about these cards is that you do not have to enter your PIN for any payment up to Rs 2,000. You just touch your card with the machine and payment is made.
Good news for Yes Bank customers, these facilities will start from March 18
The Reserve Bank of India has ordered the banks that from 16 March onwards, the banks will now give you a debit card to use only in India. However, if you want to use it abroad also, then you can ask the bank to reinstate this service.
